A Midsummer Night's Dream

Chalice Productions present one of Shakespeare's most memorable comedies in three spectacular outdoor locations, including a very special performance at The National Waterways Museum on Midsummer's Eve; 21st June 2017.
Calling all Primary Schools!
This exciting outdoor project will involve a number of local primary schools and members of the Chalice Theatrical Education Team will visit your school and work with you over a number of weeks prior to the production.

which supports and nurtures local talent in and through all aspects of the creative arts (including drama, music and writing).
We champion local talent.
We work within our local communities, building and inspiring confidence, civic pride and self worth in the most vulnerable of people (youth and adult) through our workshops, courses and production opportunities.

Our Mission Statement:
To conserve, advance and promulgate the dramatic heritage of performance, ensuring that the works of Shakespeare and other classic playwrights are made accessible to all through our reworking, re-imagining and contemporary interpretation of classic cornerstone plays.
To enhance dramatic and performance art locally and throughout the UK by producing and presenting live and filmed performances of all kinds, including offering training and numerous educational activities (in and out of schools and educational institutions).
Our objectives are achieved through the constant development of our repertory performers and through the production of plays by Shakespeare and other classic playwrights as well as the commissioning and developing of new works; championing new talent in the UK.
The IMPACT Acting Classes are designed for all those who enjoy exploring their creativity and are open to anyone no matter your previous experience. You will work with experienced tutors and directors who will aim to nurture both your confidence and creativity.

Meet your Tutor...
Impact Acting Classes are led by Director, Writer, Actor and Practitioner,
Laura J Harris.
With BA in Writing and Drama, Laura trained with ALRA and has also worked with the RSC, The Liverpool Theatres Trust and Frantic Assembly.
Directing credits to date include (but not limited to) adaptations of 'The Tempest', 'Much ado About Nothing', 'Romeo and Juliet', 'Macbeth', 'The Regina Monologues', 'The Accrington Pals' and Laura's original stage play, 'Forget Me Not'.
